Up for auction today is a rare Mercury Dj pressing made by Vogue picture records (sav-way) These records were made after sav-way filed bankruptcy in 1948
This is one of the two illustrations they used. One side of the record is titled Ragtime Cowboy Joe by Harry Cool and his orchestra , vocal by Harry Cool. The numbers on this side are 865 on the left side and number 3066 on the bottom of the lable. The other side is titled Please Don't Play Number Six Tonight this is performed by Frances Langford with orchestra accompaniment. The number on the left side is 851 and the number on the bottom is 5057. Both sides have short discription of the artist. I grade condition of this record V G + few light scuffs and mars from normal use. It plays all the way though fine on both sides. A few pops here and there. But, is in very fine condition for its age. I have collected records for 40 years and grade conservatiely. If you have questions please email me insurance is required.
