Description
A stereo, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm, LP of Pink Floyd's album, 'A Saucerful Of Secrets'
This is the 2nd studio album from the band released in June, 1968.
Recorded at EMI Studios and De Lane Lea Studios in London between May 1967 and May 1968, around the time that Syd Barrett started to unravel. Syd left the band in January, 1968 and the album was completed with David Gilmour replacing him permanently.
This is the only album to be credited to the band as a five-piece (the four original members + Gilmour) although all five only played on 'Set The controls...'

This is the original first pressing with the black label with the 'Columbia' name and trademark in blue.
Flip back sleeve designed by Hipgnosis (the first of a number by them for Floyd). It has 'File under POPULAR : Pop Groups' printed on the flipback in the top right-hand corner of the rear sleeve. Full track listing and writing credits on the rear sleeve.
Inner sleeve is a generic EMI paper sleeve illustrated with b&w covers of other releaes from the EMI catalogue (incl. 'Mrs Mills' and 'The Black and White Minstrels'!!!). The rear of the sleeve appears slightly 'skewiff' although this is more likely a manufacturing defect.
