Description
A Treasury of Immortal Performances -
CARUSO -
Rca LCT-1007 -
Factory Sealed
A fine collection of very early Caruso…so early, in fact, in 1932 Rca developed a technique for dubbing in orchestral accompaniment for performances where there wasn't any.
Included here, Caruso as the Duke in RIGOLETTO, Rhadames in AIDA, Canio in PAGLIACCI, Grimaldo in LA GIOCONDA, Rodolfo in LA BOHEME, and Eleazar in LA JUIVE, among others.
Of historical note, here factory sealed. Note a corner cut.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
