A Tribute To Bob Wills: 50th Anniversary Texas Playboy Reunion --- The Special Edition (Numbered 228) --- 5 LP's on yellow (or "Gold") wax.
This special edition is a very scarce box set and is seldom available.
Alumni of the Texas Playboys performed at the Tulsa Convention Center on August 11, 1984, to observe the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Texas Playboys. Many were interviewed. All of the players were identified including their instrument and the era during which they were a Texas Playboy.
I played BOTH sides of ALL FIVE of the LPs and grade them NM. The few pops that I heard were easily remedied by a lite wipe with a *very* soft moist nano-fiber cloth. Then, I played the affected song again to assure that it played perfectly. If I missed any defects they are not prominent and of short duration. (I do not grade LP's that have been opened as "M". "NM" is as high as I'll grade such records.)
The box would grade in EX but for the seam on the outer (front) box's top right front corner is torn and thus the box grades VG++. (See Photos).
I will ship the records outside the box, wrap the LP's in shrink wrap, insert "fill" inside the decorative box, and construct further cardboard protection for the decorative box. (Almost a box within a box if you will.)
I will ship the box set via UPS Ground. Because of the value of this item, the postage and handling will include insurance. Therefore, someone must be available to sign to receive the package.
I ship ONLY to physical addresses located within the contiguous 48 contiguous states and D.C. I do NOT ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S.A. territories / protectorates (e/g., Puerto Rico), APO, FPO, or DPO. I do NOT export LP's either directly or through eBay's International Shipping.
