Description
“A Very Special Christmas” lp. This is the first in a series of Christmas albums issued to benefit the Special Olympics. Several different popular artists of the time perform popular and traditional Christmas songs. The different records in the series use similar cover art – this one has gold embossing on a red background.
Vinyl = Very Good (VG) condition. It has a couple light scuffs and light scratches, and some fingerprints, that have little impact upon the music quality. Both sides play through mostly cleanly, with a little light static on the side lead-ins, and with no skips. Labels are clean.
Cover = Very Good (VG) condition. It has a few scuffs and some small handling creases. Ring wear is starting to show on both sides. There is some edge and corner wear. Seams are good. No writing or stickers on this cover. Sorry about the photo quality - the print (on both sides) that looks black it is actually gold.
Inner Sleeve = Very Good Minus (VG-) condition. Original glossy paper graphics / lyrics / credits / letter about the Special Olympics inner sleeve. It has a little wrinkling from handling, and a little wear at the record opening. One side seam, and the bottom seam, are good – one side seam is splitting. No writing or stickers on it.
Label = A&M Record #SP 3911
