A feast of COUNT BASIE LPs: 46 Different Titles, Nice! Description Here's a bonanza of Count Basie LPs from the 1950s to the 1980s, in top flight condition. Most of these have vinyl in NM (look new) and NM- (look virtually new) condition and one copy is sealed. A handful are in VG++ condition (close to new). There are 46 titles (and by virtue of double-LP sets, about 50 disks) on 21 different record labels (!!) including several scarce and a few rare titles. In addition to the many Count Basie and His Orchestra recordings, some of these are collaborative LPs with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joe Williams, and others. Most of these are stereo. Payment and Shipping InfoSHIPPING COSTS: The buyer in our auctions or store always is responsible for shipping costs. Most of our merchandise is "media" and qualifies for low-cost Media Mail in the US -- which can be slow but is economical.
For this item, the high bidder pays $11.69 for shipping and handling, to any US location, if the buyer chooses Media Mail. We recommend Priority Mail when speed or safety is paramount and we recommend Parcel Post or Priority Mail for merchandise that is not "media." Price varies for Priority Mail and for Parcel Post according to location, but typically these services are roughly double the Media Mail rate. Consult us for exact cost. The quoted shipping cost of every package we ship is the actual postage plus $1.15. This "handling" fee covers the average out-of-pocket cost of shipping materials -- boxes, bubble wrap, etc.
- POSTAL INSURANCE: Insurance is optional and must be requested by and paid for by the buyer. Insurance costs whatever USPS is charging for it, which depends upon the value of the shipment. If you want insurance, just tell us so in advance of payment. Because postal risks are low, and postal insurance rates are high, we don't require insurance or even recommend it except on costly items.

International shipments may be airmail or surface mail. Surface mail is often very slow, so for speed and safety reasons, we recommend airmail. Either way, let us know your preferences at the end of the auction and we'll calculate the rate.
