Led Zeppelin
Houses Of The Holy
SUPERB VERY 1ST PRESSING & COMPLETE TOO
Robert Ludwig cut too...
STERLING RL
*A2 / B2*

Being released on the 28th of March 1973, by Atlantic Records, this album was a 'tip of the hat' to the Zepp fans who turned up to hear them play live at places-dubbed Houses Of The Holy.
The album was full of NEW MATERIAL and entered the UK charts in the number 1 position, also reaching the number 1 slot across the Atlanic, in the US charts.

This copy up for auction is the very 1st pressing-without the Warner "W" to the labels and with the circular indentation to both sides.

Catalogue Number: K 50014
Dead Wax info:
Side 1: K 50014 A2        STERLING  RL
Side 2: K 50014 B2         STERLING  RL
W-O-W VERY 1st PRESSING WITH THE MUCH LOVED AND ACCLAIMED ROBERT LUDWIG "RL" CUTTING, FOR SUPERIOR SOUND.
You see many A2/B3...But not many very 1st press A2/B2!!
The Vinyl:
126g
VG(+)
The vinyl only get the VG grading due to the light visible marks-however, when I gave her a gentle vacuum clean and then listened to her-all the way through-I am very happy to report the audio reproduction was lovely and rich-clear too! I only noticed some very light background noise very occasionally, in the super quiet sections, for example; at the start of No Quater...Really nothing at all to worry about.
FLAT as the day she was born too.

The Labels:
EX.
They each have the deep-set groove to both sides, at around 2cm in from the outer edge of the label.
Just traces of light spindle marks evident when angled towards the light.
NO WRITING
NO Warner "W" at the end of the rim text AND the rim-text finishes BEFORE the white central band-showing this to be THE 1st Pressing.
"Superhype" credit too.

The Sleeve:
VG.
It is the ORIGINAL gatefold sleeve.
The edges have some rubbing, as do the corners.
NO SPLITS
There is a small crossed out name to the top of the front of the gatefold sleeve, as well as a patch of lifting to the back panel-Please see the detailed images provided for yourselves.
GLORIOUS colours
STRONG and UNCRUSHED SPINE

The Inner:
VG+
TEXTURED & HEAVYWEIGHT
But strangely it is a 1st pressing German printed inner.
It has some blooming to the paper-as can be seen in the images provided. NO SPLITS ALL ORIGINAL

ALL IN ALL THIS IS A QUALITY SOUNDING RECORD ON 1ST PRESSING UK LABEL.
COMPLETE WITH THE 1ST PRESSING INNER TOO.
GRAB HER-PUT HER ON YER DECK AND TURN HER UP!
