VERY RARE, PLAY TESTED BLACK GOSPEL LP, PRESSED ON TRANSLUCENT RED VINYL: A.A. ALLEN, Gene Martin, David Davis, Richard Page, David Mangum at the drums, Philadelphia and Atlanta Miracle Restoration Tent Revival Choirs -"Troubles In The Land Will Soon Be Over" (A.A. Allen Revival Recordings No. 187/188). Very rare regional/private pressing LP, that I would say was primarily sold through mail order, and pressed in very small numbers. This is the first copy on red vinyl that I've seen turn up. Very rare LP. Play graded, both sides. (see detailed grading description below). Very nice, sanctified, gospel soul singing on Side 1 with more of the same, with alternating, short sermons on side Side 2. Discogs no show! Fantastic, highly rare gospel LP. Don't hesitate to grab this one while you have the chance. You may not get another opportunity to own one in this nice of condition, or on this color of vinyl. Grab it while you can! RECORD CONDITION: VG+/VG++. (PLAY GRADED.) Pretty heavy, deep groove LP. Translucent red vinyl. Very glossy in fantastic condition, with a few light scuffs/surface marks on each side, and a couple light indention marks in the first few bands of Side 2. I play tested the entirety of both sides on my Sony LAB-1200 turntable. It played through both sides nicely, with no skipping. Sounded nice and clear, with occasional minor surface noise, and a some pops throughout. Record is a little dusty and could use a thorough, light cleaning. Nice, bright, black labels with silver print have a few very light spindle marks on each side, and a few tiny white spots, Side 2. Comes in original, generic, paper innersleeve. A nice example of this rarity.

JACKET CONDITION: VG
"Envelope" style jacket, that opens up (manufactured attached at the spine only) with ads for other A.A. Allen Revival Recordings releases printed on the inside. Still in the shrink, still pretty tight, with a roughly 3" tear, back left cover at the top. The top of the jacket, particularly the right corner of the front corner is pretty dirty with heavy stains, (See pics) and some moderate creasing. Some light foxing/small moisture stain on the back cover along the top. Corners on the top, light bending, and a very small split, left corner. As for the rest of the cover, it's mainly been well preserved from the shrink, with very nice, bright colors, a few light creases, a few light stains, and a few small remnants of paper/dust underneath the shrink, towards the bottom of the cover. Overall, a nice copy of a very rare LP that you may not have the opportunity to get again. Priced to sell so grab it while you can! Be sure to see the pics.
