Description

AARDVARK Aardvark LP 1970 1st Press Mono Deram Nova VG/VG- (PROG/PYSCH) VERY RARE!

Very rare and collectable Aardvark album released in 1970 on the Deram Nova record label and in very good condition throughout!

I try to be as honest with my grading of vinyl as possible and would never offer albums or singles that were anything less than in good condition (using the Record Collector Magazine Grading System as my guide – see below).  I clean (if required) and then play all the albums and singles I offer on e-bay before listing them.

Also, I supply a number of good quality photographs whenever possible. You need have no doubt what you are bidding on after checking these out.

All albums and 12" singles are sent out in card mailers with strong stiffeners.

Format: Vinyl Mono LP (33/3 rpm)

Record Label: Deram (Nova)

Catalogue No: DN 17

Country: UK

Year: 1970

Condition of vinyl: In very good condition with only minor surface marks and light scratches visible. Side 1 is in better condition than Side 2 in my opinion (Side 1 VG, Side 2 VG-) but I played the album all the way through and it sounded great in glorious mono!  There is minor surface noise and crackles audible in the quieter moments (especially in the quiet track "Once Upon A Hill" on side 2) but no loud pops and no sticking or jumping.

Condition of labels: In excellent condition with only very minor spindle wear evident.

Matrix Numbers: ARL-9459 P 2A, ARL-9460.P-1A

Condition of cover: Front laminated cover is in very good condition with only minor wear, creasing and discolouration evident.  The back cover has discoloured over the years. The text on the spine is still readable.

Extras: Comes complete with the original red Mono inner sleeve in very good condition.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System:

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be Mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
