Description
GREAT GOOGILY MOOGILY!!
For your bidding consideration today is this super-collectible FIRST PRESSING 78 rpm record of the earliest known country recording by A.C. "Eck" Robertson (solo on "Sallie Gooden") with Henry C. Gilliland (duet on "Arkansaw Traveler"). I have not play tested this record, but it appears it should play just fine...no edge chips, heavy groove wear, needle digs, warps, deep scratches, or similar defects present which commonly affect old records like these! The labels definitely show aging (faded letters and a needle run on "Arkansaw Traveler") but show no tearing or staining. Overall, this record grades a VG per Goldmine standards.
The winning bidder of this item is responsible for prompt (within 48 hours of listing end) payment in full, and s/he assumes all shipping charges as well. I have been a record collector for over 15 years, and will be listing several other great music-related items (records, instruments, etc.) for sale this week - check out my other auctions! Please be aware that whenever possible, I will gladly combine shipping charges into one invoice for multiple items won by the same bidder.
I will package this fragile record so well that even if your mail carrier happens to be a wild, untamed gorilla, it will still arrive to your door safely. Shipping will occur via USPS Media Mail, and I will upload tracking information as soon as it becomes available to me. Due to this item's age, it is being sold "AS-IS" and returns will not be accepted.
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
