Description
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL 1st PRESS LUDWIG "MASTERDISK" with THE "RL" TO THE RIGHT OF THE "MASTERDISK" MACHINE STAMPERS ON BOTH SIDES-see pic #4. 95% OF THE COPIES OUT THERE ONLY HAVE THE SECOND SIDE LUDWIG MASTER STAMPER. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL PRESS with "B/B" ETCHINGS and THE ORIGINAL INSERT-see pics #5 and #6 (Small Breach 2" Bottom Center of Insert). THE ONLY COPIES FOUND TODAY WITH THE ORIGINAL INSERT DESIGN ARE "ALBERT" PRESSINGS OUT OF AUSTRALIA and THE JAPANESE RE-ISSUES. THE MEDIA DOES NOT A SINGLE SCUFF or RUB. THE JACKET HAS A COUPLE VERY MINOR, LIGHT PRESSURE INDENTATIONS-see pics #1 & #2. SPINE IS 100% INTACT AS ARE ALL JACKET SEAMS AND THERE IS ALMOST NO RING WEAR (This was a major issue with this LP - copies a month or two old usually had great degree of ring-wear). THIS IS A FANTASTIC "TOP COPY".
NOTE- FYI- There is some dust on the media visible in a couple pics- it is only dust- I assure you- THE MEDIA IS PRISTINE. This copy also has the letters E-A-S-T around the center hole at 9,12,3 and 6 o'clock respectively-see last 2 pics. I AM NOT SURE WHICH PRESSING PLANT DOES THIS BUT I HAVE FOUND IT ON SEVERAL ATCO & Atlantic Pressings and more often than not AC/DC. If you know what this represents please communicate-Thanks!!!
