AC/DC - Danger B/w Back In Business Atlantic Label A9532P 789 532-7 1985 UK First Pressing Shaped Picture Disc Vinyl
This listing is for a rare AC/DC picture disc single Danger from the Fly on The Wall Album.
Only the UK got this picture disc and there is only 1 pressing so a rare collectors piece.
All of my records are play tested on a Project Debut Carbon with 2M Red stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+ Although difficult to visually grade picture discs this looks to be in really good condition. No damage to the edges and just faint whisper lines under a bright light. Colours are vivid and bright and I imagine unchanged from original release although this isn't something you come across every day.
Record Audio - VG+/G A tale of two sides unfortunately. The A sides sounds fantastic with only light surface noise on run in, big rich sound when playing. The B side has quite considerable surface noise which is audible throughout the track. There is no obvious damage so may just need a machine clean to restore the sound. Personally I don't see picture discs as playable items and are there to enjoy for their visual delight.
Record Sleeve - Generic Unfortunately the original sleeve is missing, which was just a plain PVC sleeve with a white sticker on so you are not missing much. Record is currently stored in a soft polythene sleeve unless I can find something more appropriate but it's a funny shaped item!!
