GOLDMINE GRADE

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) or EXCELLENT (E)

A good description of a VG+ record is “except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint.” Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if it toward the high end of the grade (sometimes called VG++ or E+).

VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole.

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap:
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is the third studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was the band's third LP released in Australia and second in Europe in 1976 but was not released in the United States until 1981, more than one year after lead singer Bon Scott's death.
Albert Productions:
Australian record label founded in 1964. Albert Productions established its own record label and a state-of-the-art recording studio in central Sydney.
In the early 1970s they produced 20% of the music on the Australian charts, and regularly had three or four tracks in the top 20 simultaneously.  Working in collaboration with engineer Bruce Brown, Albert Productions produced a string of successful singles and albums for acts including former bandmate Stevie Wright, John Paul Young, AC/DC, The Angels, Cheetah and William Shakespeare.  The Albert Productions label is known internationally through its association with hard rock band AC/DC.
What's Selling:
The original Australian Albert Productions release of AC/DC's Highway To Hell. Released in Australia with alternate cover-art compared to international releases. An incredibly rare record to find in this condition.
  • Includes original inner.
  • Ultrasonically cleaned.
Vinyl Condition: Near Mint (NM)
Nice and shiny appearance. Record has light surface marks from picking it up off a table. Obviously looked after. Some light spindle marks.

Cover Condition: Excellent (EX)
Nice sharp looking copy. Corners in good shape with tiny creases but looks clean.  Small amount of ring wear visible on cover - just looks slightly dirty - could obviously cleaned, but I'm not a vinyl restorer at this value. Spine split repaired well. Tiny flecks of edge wear.

Great care has been taken to document the condition of this record and cover.  Please keep in mind that grades can be subjective, which is why detailed photographs have been provided to ensure transparency.
Photographs form part of the description.

In Australia, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap was originally released with an alternate album cover.

AC/DC First pressings produced by Albert Productions are commonly referred to as a “Blue Label”, or a “Blue Roo”.  The Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap First Pressing features a Blue Label, a surrounding yellow strobe effect, and a small kangaroo to signify the record release is a First Pressing.
