For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) (referred to as For Those About to Rock on its cover) is the eighth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was the band's seventh internationally released studio album and the eighth to be released in Australia. It was released on 23 November 1981.
Released in 1981, the album is a follow-up to their highly successful album Back in Black. For Those About to Rock has sold over four million copies in the US. It would be AC/DC's first and only No. 1 album in the U.S. until the release of Black Ice in October 2008. In their original 1981 review, Rolling Stone magazine declared it to be their best album. In Australia, the album peaked at No. 3 on the Kent Music Report Albums Chart.
Vinyl Condition: Near Mint (NM)Just shy of mint. Side one has a couple of light surface marks that can be seen under a strong desk bulb - you have to hunt for them. I cant fault side 2. Super Shiny and the quality of this pressing is obvious. A handful of spindle marks if you study it.
SIDE 1: P-11068A1 TO ST-A-814831-C Z-1 MASTERDISK RL EDP MISFI SM12 M-A-14 3
SIDE 2: ST-A-814832-C MASTERDISK RL M-A-3 3 P11068A2 TO EDP MISFI SM12
Cover Condition: Near Mint (NM) OBI still on cover. Says 2500 Yen So close to mint. Heavy Cardboard Gatefold . Corner dings less than 1cm top left corner and under 5mm on right side. Finger prints etc noticeable on shiny gold. Cover slightly splotchy from handling. Vibrant colour - needs a clean but I don't want to risk it. Only shelf wear in the form of tiny lines localised to each corner.
Great care has been taken to document the condition of this record and cover. Please keep in mind that grades can be subjective, which is why detailed photographs have been provided to ensure transparency.
