Description

AC/DC -Grab Hold Of This One Maxi Single in picture cover 1977. Atlantic records (K10899) 7" record in Picture sleeve. Side 1. (a)  Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (b) Big Balls. Side 2. The Jack.
Description. The cover has creases and small tear marks where the record has been taken out of the cover and replaced, normal hand traffic when using a record cover. Otherwise the cover is in good condition no splits or record poke through on sides or base, very slight record ringing.
The Record. This has got me stumped. To look at the record you would grade as excellent, nice looking record, excellent labels, very clean surface and without marks. Playing of record. (the record does not jump). Side 1 (a) Dirty Deeds plays really well and clear. Side 1 (b) Big Balls has a static sound, that has me stumped, I cannot get rid of it, I have cleaned this record three times and my styli still pulls up dirt from this track. I honestly do not know why only this track has this noise. Side 2. The Jack plays well a very little dust crackle now and then but it does not detract from the quality of the record and eventually with playing will probably disappear altogether.  (I think the stylii will take all the ground in dust particles out). Don't get me wrong this side does play really well, but I am being ultra critical.
I know this record was stored in a cold damp dusty garage for 30 years and this could be the reason I cannot shift the static noise on track 1(b)  It might well be with constant cleaning and playing it will remove considerably this static noise that only sounds on the 'Big Balls' track. The above is a true in-depth description of this wonderful record, I would not want anyone to bid or buy without knowing the full appraisal. Any questions please contact me. If you want an AC/DC Single with two really good tracks and the third with a static noise (Big Balls) track then this is a good buy

Overseas bidders P&P may vary with location.
