(M)        Mint        Record - Sealed. Record has never been played.                            Sleeve  - Has no damage.
(NM)   Near mint   Record - Shows no signs of ever being played. Looks and sounds like new and has no spindle marks on the inner label.                            Sleeve  - Is clean and looks as good as new. All inner sleeves and posters are in pristine condition.
(EX)   Excellent    Record - Shows no obvious signs of ever being played. Sounds clear and looks new at first glance.                                         May have acquired one or two spindle marks on inner label but the vinyl is unaffected.                                           Plays through with very few (if any) scratches or surface noises.                            Sleeve - Is clean and looks new at first glance. May have some minimal creasing with close inspection but is still a fine example.                                         Inner sleeves and posters are very presentable.
(VG)  Very good  Record -  Has been well cared for but shows some signs of being played. Inner label may have acquired some spindle marks, handling marks or a sticker.                                         The vinyl may have some light paper scuffs due to the removal from the inner sleeve but there's no severe damage like a deep scratch..                                         Plays through with minimal surface noise which sometimes might be heard during quiet passages or between tracks                                         You might hear an occasional click but nothing loud or very repetitive. The grooves have retained most of their sound quality.                             Sleeve - Has no rips or tears, writing, scribbles or graffiti, folds or heavy creasing. No seem splits, cello tape repair, laminate damage or heavy stains.                            .            But could possibly have some light to moderate ring wear, some subtle scuffs or creasing around the edges, price tag residue or faint handling marks.                                         Inner sleeves and posters may have tarnished slightly but are completely in tact.
  (G)      Good      Record - Shows obvious signs of being played and is in less than perfect condition. May have lost noticeable audio dynamics due to groove wear.                                         Inner label could possibly have acquired pen marks, spindle marks, sticker residue or look tainted.                                         Scratches and/or surface noise can be heard throughout the record but it's not too bad during loud passages.                                         Plays fine on my record player although there's a small chance the record could stick or skip with a sensitive or unbalanced record player.                                          This grade isn't used unless the record is well sought after or is a collectable rarity.                           Sleeve -   Has seen better days but there's no rips or tears. Could possibly have a seem split if the rest of it is in excellent condition. I will specify this in in my ad.                                         May have noticeable sticker marks or residue, moderate to heavy creasing and ring wear, might have acquired some pen marks or graffiti.                                          Could be faded or have been permanently stained. Inner sleeves and posters may look faded or tatty but have no rips, stains, or graffiti unless specified.                                                                                                                           Records are graded using a magnifying glass, a table lamp fitted with a 100 watt light bulb and are played where any visible imperfections are noticed.                                          Some records may sound better than they look and others worse than they appear when It comes to the (G) category.                                         Any specific flaws such as fingerprints, spine damage, someone's name written on inner label or any of the above will be specified in the ad.                                             I endeavour to give accurate descriptions and sincerely hope you enjoy your record.                                         I never close the bidding early.                                         If you have any questions please ask.                                                                                      Paypal only Please                                           Thanks, Mike
