Description

  • AC/DC released their sixth studio album "Highway To Hell" in July 1979 on Atlantic Records. It was the last album with original vocalist Bon Scott who died in early 1980. It is considered one of the greatest hard rock records of all time and was the band's first to break into the Top 20 in America. In addition to the title track it includes hit singles "Touch Too Much" and "Girls Got Rhythm."

  • This copy of (SD 19244) is from the First Pressing and is in exceptional condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap largely attached and is in near-mint condition. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is easily VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles and was pressed by Specialty Records Corp. in Olyphant, PA. The Side One dead wax is etched 1- MO ST-A-794325-C MR ?24411 ? and stamped with the SRC logo.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 42 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
