Per Wikipedia, Back in Black is the seventh studio album by Australian rock band AC/DC, released on 25 July 1980, by Atlantic Records. It was the band's first album to feature Brian Johnson as lead singer, following the death of their previous vocalist Bon Scott.  The album was composed by Brian Johnson and brothers Angus and Malcolm Young, and was recorded over seven weeks at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas from April to May 1980 with producer Robert John Lange, who had also produced Highway to Hell.  Back in Black was an unprecedented commercial and critical success. It has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums in music history. AC/DC supported the album with a yearlong world tour that cemented them among the most popular music acts of the early 1980s. It has since been included on numerous "greatest albums" lists. On 21 August 2024, the album was certified 27× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), making it the third-based solo album in the United States and the best-selling album that never reached the top spot on the American charts.  The album up for sale is a 1980 release on the Atlantic Records label.  The recording was mastered at Masterdisk and was pressed by Specialty Record Corp.  The album consists of 10 tracks with a run time of 42+ minutes.  The embossed cover is in VG good condition with mild wear along the edges and corners.  There are no split seams, bent corners or markings.  The embossed front cover displays a cover variation with grey paint on the front and back covers and along the title spine.  The paper inner sleeve is original but shows wear with three split seams.  I have replaced the sleeve with a new poly vinyl, anti static paper sleeve to provide additional protection against dust accumalation.  The original sleeve will be included on shipment.  The recording has been cleaned, tested and recorded using Audacity.  All tracks are free of skips and there is very little background noise.  The sound is strong, clear and crisp.  On testing, I detected a single "click" on Side 2 between tracks 4&5 in the quiet space.  The disc surface shows only mild superficial wear that does not impact on the music.  The labels are intact but there is the previous owner's name on Side 1.  The Matrix / Runoout (Side A label) is ST-A-804517-B MASTERDISK (stamped) RL SP 0-1 SM 1-3.  Application of the Goldmine standards for grading recordings would warrant a grade of VG+/EX.
