********************************* A more than decent copy of this bockbuster effort from AC/DC, their 3rd album with Bon Scott on vocals.
Simply a sensational ballsy rocker all the way through showcasing the incredible chemistry between Bon and Angus …. just awesome stuff !
Overseas collectors might note the unique cartoon sleeve as well as the alternate track listing here with the Aussie hit single ‘Jailbreak’ plus ‘R.I.P. (Rock In Peace)’ replacing the songs "Rocker" ( later included on the 1975 Aussie release of T.N.T.) and "Love At First Feel" which ended up being a non- album track in Australia.
To my knowledge both these songs ( i.e. Jailbreak and R.I.P. ) were never included on any vinyl issues outside of Australasia ….in fact the only LP you’ll find them on is this issue which just about makes this a must-have item for any serious collector.
A timeless hell-raising classic for fans.
One of rock's all-time greats; between Bon Scott's great lyrics (which are good for a laugh) and Angus Young's jaw-droppingly massive riffs, it's with good reason! The album starts strong with the classic title track, and carries through with a further number of licks that are recognizable to even those unfamiliar with AC/DC's catalogue. Always a great album to crank up and rock out to, from start to finish.
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is a fabulous album. This was their era, when Australian pubs sweated to this kind of music that really was quintessentially Australian. Apart from the rhythm section, which was and is just an awesome structure in the history of music, Bon Scott was just the most brilliant frontman and vocalist, and Angus Young is, of course, Angus…. One of the finest albums you could wish to find….

CONDITION – see 4 photos above :
Vinyl - play-tested completely both sides : Looks and plays great with a beaut sound. A reasonably thick piece and not overly played. Barely a mark at all and the play-back is simply awesome with no pops, skips or background noise. Rated a pinch better than EX for mine and I’m certain a lot of collectors would give this an EX+.
Labels : Clean.
Sleeve : A pretty decent original sleeve here. No writing, no ceases, no splits, a touch of edge-wear though very minimal really and you have to look very close to pick-up on the faintest hint of ring-wear. The corners show some wear though, as mentioned earlier, this jacket stands up very well in my book as per the photos above. Rated excellent.
