  • Recorded live 12/7/77, this record was pressed in a limited edition for promotion purposes only 
  • Record was played minimally and carefully - cover has some yellowing from age with minimal corner and edge wear - original, generic, paper sleeve is included with no splits (record will be shipped in replacement inner sleeve)
  • Includes original Atlantic Records post card insert - does not include original Atlantic Records letter insert 
  • Note close-up photo of cover detail showing pitted indentations and close-up of vinyl run-off showing LASS changed to LAAS etching - these details are consistent with authentic copies of this rare and important live work by AC/DC

From Wikipedia:  AC/DC are an Australian hard rock band, formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young.[1] A hard rock/blues rock band,[2] they have also been considered a heavy metal band,[3][4][5][6] although they have always dubbed their music simply "rock and roll".[7] Live from the Atlantic Studios is a live album by AC/DC released on the Bonfire box set. The album was recorded live at the Atlantic Recording Studios in New York, on 7 December 1977 and all tracks were remixed by George Young. This was an official Radio Station/Promo release by Atlantic Records.[2] It was initially released on LP in 1978, and later on CD (1986).  AC/DC's performance was the first in a series of promotional concert-events for Atlantic Records acts. Catalog # LAAS 001. The CD version was officially released to fans in 1997 as part of the Bonfire collection. Prior to that, this album was widely bootlegged among AC/DC fans.
