AC/DC TNT LP GF Blue Label Scarcer No Stereo On Label HEAR ! 1977 Pro Cleaned Nice Copy ! . On Australian Albert Productions APLPA 016 . This one i believe is the second label issue , it still has the blue labels with the yellow stroboscope rim edge but without the first press " kangaroo " logo , this one is the slightly scarcer copy which does not have " Stereo " printed at the top of the labels .
COVER: Factory Gatefold non laminated card cover generally in a strong excellent condition and still very nice and clean .
Front And Edges / Corners: Not really a lot to say at all , no really obvious marks maybe just the faintest hairline / line mark seen at certain angles to the light , but really barely visible , amazingly there are no obvious ring wear marks , there are just a very very few super light and tiny usual crease crack lines in places on the edges . Some normal but super light useage / age related wear on the side opening edges , both edges are nice and straight , there are some usual but again extremely light and mostly tiny bits of rubbing etc on the corners but this is really just mainly on the tip ends , this really is very light only , the inner GF does have one very small dink on the bottom right corner as seen in the photos , there is some usual but very faint and very small bits of rubbing present in two or three places on the edges , but again this really is barely noticeable , the spine is excellent with just a couple of tiny very faint crack lines and the odd usual but very very light and small dent , the spine is fully legible , being really picky , there is a very faint near hairline line mark running approx half way down across the spine , but this is very faint and i actually do think it's just within the printing .
INNER GF: Again really not a lot to say at all on this , just the odd extremely light and very small mark , it really is nice and clean overall .
REAR: Again very clean indeed . Just one extremely light dent line on and just near to the bottom edge , mainly only seen more at certain angles to the light , there are just a very very few very light and small usual crack lines in places on the edges . The faintest hint of the start of a ring wear mark near the top and bottom edges , but these really are very faint indeed and again only really seen more at certain angles to the light . Again there maybe just the odd very faint and small hairline / line mark seen mainly just at certain angles to the light .
** This really is one of the cleanest examples i've seen in a very long time ! **
INNER SLEEVE: Cellophane type rounded at the bottom inner sleeve in good / near very good overall condition , there is some ( often seen on these ) denting / creasing present and some general age / use related wear in places , but certainly nothing overly excessive , i couldn't see any obvious seam splits , i'm not 100% sure if this is the original inner but i know these lp's did come with this type of inner sleeve and it was ( separately and loose in the cover ) with the record when i got it , obviously though i can't say for sure that this is the original inner sleeve . I will also be putting the record into a new plain white paper inner sleeve .
LABELS: Blue with yellow stroboscope rim and silver print labels generally in excellent condition , still very nice and clean with just a tiny bit of what looks like excess vinyl on the spindle hole on S2 label , there are just two or three usual but extremely light and very small spindle marks , both labels are writing free .
** Please note that the greyish coloured marks and bright shiny patches that are sometimes seen on some of the close ups of the record playing surfaces in the photos are purely a light reflection / glare and are not marks on the record , thank you ** .
** I have done a sound clip video of the quieter intro and start of The Jack , so hopefully you can hear the sort of overall quality of the audio , please see below for a more detailed audio description , thank you ** .
RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a strong excellent condition with just a couple of very very faint certainly non feelable , certainly non sounding and very very small blemish type marks , really only very slightly visible at certain angles to the light and may actually just be within the vinyl itself , there are just a very very very few very faint and very fine mainly whispy type hairlines and odd sleeve removal , there are no nasty gouges / nasty scratches whatsoever , i will also say that actually most ( if not all ) though there really aren't that many at all and certainly nothing obviously visible in normal light ) of these very very very few ultra fine hairlines and as i say actually the couple of very very faint very small non feelable non sounding blemish marks are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please note that there maybe the odd tiny dust particle or tiny bit of fluff etc seen on the record in places in the photos off my wiping cloth due to static etc , i can't see them on the record at the time but they sometimes do show up when I take the close up photos , this is also because i do take the photos before i vacuum clean the record , thank you for your understanding . Please see below for audio description .
AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally very light noise . It plays excellent on the whole , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really very little in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , i just heard a tiny bit of light static type pops on the intro and a brief bit at the very end as it starts to go onto the run off on T1 , the odd extremely light static type pop on the intro on T2 , there was a very very brief bit of mostly very faint static in a couple of places on T3 and very very faint bit of static on the intro and a coupe of other places on T4 , there was just a light bit of static pop noise on the odd silent track changeover , as i say any of this was in my opinion negligible and to be expected on a record of this now considerable age and most , thought there really wasn't that much at all was faint only , but as i say it did still play excellent in my opinion , there was no nasty loud continuous crackle and no nasty loud ticks , there may just have been the odd isolated light pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .
AUDIO B SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally very light noise . It plays superbly , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , there really is nothing worthy of note to report here , there was no nasty continuous crackle and no nasty ticks , there may just have been the odd isolated faint pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic and the audio tones are still awesome .
** A really very nice example overall , i think certainly up there with the better ones !! **
There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a lovely shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .
All in all a very nice example of this now very collectable item together with super overall sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . I have started this one off at what i think is a very keen £84.99p for such a clean and solid copy , the extra shown is what Ebay add on for their fees . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding . Please do read the following ref record gradings explained thank you .
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear . There will be some light only surface marks though most will be just fine hairlines , there will be no major deterioration in sound quality at all though some amount of light noise / occasional light pop may be present in places especially on some of the quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , the record will play through perfectly , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows only light signs of this , a few of the lightest non feelable surface marks being mostly very fine hairlines will be present , but it displays no deterioration in sound quality . Some brief bits of very light noise and very occasional usual light pop maybe present in places and would be acceptable on some quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Excellent : The record shows some signs of having been played , but there is very little lessening in sound quality , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail. Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
