Description
Up for regrettable sale is a first issue LP of AC/DC's TNT.
It is an original blue roo label pressing, APLPA. 016 however it is particularly rare as it is one of the very first pressings which had a track listing error on the back of the cover. Rather than reprint the LP covers, the record company decided to paste over the incorrect track listing. This meant that these very first copies were sold with a white sticker on the back of the cover, showing the correct track listing.
As it has aged a little bit you can actually see the text underneath the sticker shining through if you tilt it on the right angle. This reveals that the real track 2 from side 1 was mistakenly printed as track 4 on side 2.
This record has been in the family collection since it was new and we really want it to go to someone who is going to appreciate it as much as we do. It was only a recent discovery that we learnt our copy was as rare as it is.
As it has been well loved it has aged over time with some wear on the cover (pictured).
The glue has dried and separated over time which has caused the pocket containing the record to open. However it is still in tact and could very easily be stuck down again.
The record itself hasn't been played for some time, but just looking at the vinyl it seems to be in relatively good condition. I have tried to take as many photos as possible to show the condition, but am happy to provide more upon request.
