THIS IS PART OF THE BEST COLLECTION OF PROMOS / DEMOS / ACETATES FROM A RETIRED RECORD COMPANY EXECUTIVE THAT WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FROM THE LATE 1950'S TO THE MID 1970'S, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING COLLECTION OF SINGLES I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I WILL BE LISTING IT OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, THERE ARE MANY NEVER SEEN, OR RARELY SEEN PROG / PSYCH / FREAKBEAT / MOD / BEAT / DANCER / NORTHERN SOUL / ROCK 'N' ROLL / POPCORN / FOLK DEMOS / PROMOS AND ACETATES !!! WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK DECCA DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE PRESSING - MOD / FREAKBEAT single by the THE BEATSTALKERS from 1966, ORIGINAL UK DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE PRESSING IN GREAT CONDITION !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - MOD / FREAKBEAT - DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE single that RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE !!! This is probably THE ONE AND ONLY KNOWN DOUBLE ACETATE for this ULTIMATE FREAKBEAT / MOD single, to me it sounded like a slightly different mix from the single issue, but it could just be the fact that acetates sound different then vinyl !!! Even the title of the B side is slightly different then the released version: "GET A BETTER HOLD ON” while the finished stock was : “YOU’D BETTER GET A BETTER HOLD ON” !!! This is one of the BEST and ULTIMATE - UK FREAKBEAT MOD singles and as a result was comped on the: DECCA ORIGINALS: THE FREAKBEAT SCENE and BEAT US IF YOU CAN 1 compilations !!!
MOST OF THESE SINGLES COME IN NEAR MINT / PLAYED ONCE CONDITION, WITH THEIR ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE FROM THE RECORD SHOP BACK IN THE DAY (you can see the correct catalogue number written in the corner of the COMPANY SLEEVE as was done by the record shop back then) AMAZING CONDITION !!!
The tracks are: LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT / GET A BETTER HOLD ON.
The ACETATE was pressed by DECCA RECORDS.
The condition of the ACETATE is in visually VG++/VG+++ condition (MUCH BETTER THEN MOST ACETATES OF THAT AGE, plays with mild crackle as acetates normally do !!! ) !!!
AFTER A FEW PROBLEMS ALL ITEMS OVER £20.00 WILL HAVE TO BE SENT REGISTERED / INSURED AT AN EXTRA COST OF £1.50 (UK), £5.20 (REST OF THE WORLD) NO EXCEPTIONS !!!
