Description
1 sided 1956 12" 45rpm Acetate / Dubplate
JIMMY SIMPSON and his Oilfield Playboys
Can I Come Home?
It was apparently originally released in 1956 in Greggton Texas (I lived in Texas for 20 years and I have no clue where that is) on BIG STATE records 45-595 Can I Come Home was the A side. The B side (not on this disc) was "Memories Of You" The reverse side of this disc has no recording on it.
CONDITION: plays VG+ some relatively light & steady surface sound (HEAR THE 1 MINUTE VIDEO IN THE PICTURE SECTION) a little bit of the black surface was scuffed off on the very edge of the disc (see pictures) but it has absolutely no effect on the play and is no where near the playing surface which is near the center & about 3+ inches away from the edge. It is in A GENERIC CARDBOARD SLEEVE & a generic poly lined inner (see the last picture) I put the name & title on the sleeve
POPSIKE SHOWS THREE 45'S; BIG STATE 595 (of which this is the A side) WERE SOLD FOR $123 TO $125. Obviously I assume the acetate is worth quite a bit more but since this doesn't have the B side or a label I'm listing it at $149.99.
