EMI ARCHIVE / HISTORIC MASTERS HM ??500 A / B - 507 A / B (Limited Edition / 8-Vinyl Record Box with Booklet and CD): ADELINA PATTI RECORDINGS - 78rpm vinyl recordings from original masters - Centenary Edition. English repressings of a total of 16 recordings made by G & T in 1905 and 1906 with the 63-year-old diva and "prima donna assoluta" in her castle "Craig-y-Nos" in Wales; Piano accompaniment: Sir Landon Ronald (December1905) and Alfredo Barili (June 1906). The box contains 8 double-sided records of the world-famous soprano (each with a facsimile of the original Patti label) as well as a CD with a dubbing of the 16 recordings. In addition, a detailed booklet written by Michael Aspinall, with a careful analysis of their interpretations and their vocal technique. A historical document of the Golden Age of Singing. Very rare ! The kit was made by the Historic Masters Society only by subscription to the members of the Society. A corresponding information sheet of the HM Society (in English) is also included as a photocopy. Played once, all contents in near-mint condition. Satisfaction guaranteed.
