I met the band when they came here in '89 (or maybe was it 1990 ??) - anyway they appeared at Brashs at Pitt Street in Sydney - not sure whether it was a promotional tour or not ... they were on a different record label to where I worked - I actually 'nicked off' from work and raced into town with one of the Sales Reps (and his girlfriend - who I worked with) on a whim ... grabbed a record sleeve and pretended to be from WEA ... what I remember most of these guys was Steve Tyler - he was really bizzare (even to me) and he was soooooooooo skinny - too much hard living he told me (mmmm ya' don't say Steve!!!)

A little 'Rizzo history

From 1986 to 1992 I worked for PolyGram Records (became Mercury then part of Universal, now no longer exists?) which later obtained some cool labels via Phonogram and Polydor.  I started off on  the Telephone Sales desk to Accounts Receivable to NSW Sales & Promotion (Assistant to the Branch Manager) then finally Label Assistant for Phonogram (as well as ABC Records).  On Saturday mornings I worked in an Import Record Store in the Imperial Arcade - mainly to pay for my record collecting addiction! ... Anyway this is starting to sound like a CV sooooooooo I'll get to the point ...

 Most of the CDs/Records you'll find in my little Kitsch'n Sink are from these last few of years of my time at PolyGram and were very rarely played (some not at all) - 15 years on its time to stop using my house as storage ...

... By no means am I an expert when it comes to much of anything really - I just know what I like (bit of a bower bird - go for the shiny things in life) - however, any Questions and I'll only be too happy to answer as best I can ...
