AFI a fire inside FIRST BOX SET Grey Vinyl, RARE, NR

Limited to 920 copies -- this black velvet box set contains the first 5 AFI Albums (Answer That and Stay Fashionable, Very Proud of Ya, Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes, Black Sails In The Sunset, and The Art of Drowning) on GREY MARBLED VINYL, along with an amazing booklet and cool pendant. Not only is this box set still sealed, but you will not find one of these in better condition on here, guaranteed!! Here's why: I orderd this directly from Nitro on 6/29/03 (it was only available for a short time online and quickly sold out). Once it arrived, I immediately stuck it in a sealed storage box in my closet. It hasn't seen the sunlight in years, just like Davey Havok. Not only is the box set itself still sealed in the shrinkwrap, but I never even took it out of the box it shipped in except to verify it was in there! Now here's where the story takes a weird turn... I put this up on eBay about a year ago and the high bidder was another AFI fan in my hometown. They paid, I sold it off and about 8 months later I was in a local record store here in town swapping some vinyl in for trade credit, and this baby was behind the counter! To make a long story short, I bought it back with my trade credit and cash. It's in exactly the same conditon it was when I sold it the first time, apparently the girl who bought it did so as an investment and sold it off pretty quickly. It's had a rather interesting journey, lol. The winner will get it in the original shipping box which is a total time capsule complete with the Nitro packing slip / reciept, catalog and various stickers of bands that they were pushing around that time. This is a smart investment right now considering this set has almost doubled it's value every year since it came out, and the band is now going stronger than ever. I'd hold on to this for a few more years if I could afford to, but I'm in a financial pinch and can really use the funds. Again, NONE MORE MINT!!

From the AFI Discography:

"Released on Nitro Records and also exclusive only to Nitro. This was available for pre-order online on the 27th of November in 2002. This release was delayed many times before finally being shipped in the week of February the 10th in 2003. The box set comes in a black velvet box and contained 5 of AFI's first LPs. The LP jackets were also re-designed as black on black images. Thrown in was a full-colour booklet outlining AFI's history with liners from past and present band members and some great photos. The AFI 'artifact' included for those who pre-ordered before December 24, 2003 was a nephilim pendant. As a bonus, the Nitro comp Punkzilla was thrown in due to delays and a set of 6 stickers. These items are NOT considered part of the box set.

The second edition to the very popular Nitro AFI Box Set, was released on the 23rd of May in 2003. It is once again on Nitro Records and exclusively sold via them, but has a few different details. Everything in this product is identical (including the black velvet box) except all vinyl is GREY. Artifact is the same. It is also limited to 920 (used to be 950, but 30 box sets have disappeared). So this is harder to get than the first!"

Check my feedback, bid with confidence. Good luck!

This set is unopened so I can't show you what's inside it, but here's a stock picture of the contents:

I've had questions about shipping outside of the United States -- yes, I will do it, but buyer agrees to pay all shipping fees. I'll have to get an exact quote based on location of the buyer. Thanks!
