Description
AFRS 16" Transcription record Tommy Dorsey 11
Description:
For your consideration is this Tommy Dorsey 16" AFRS Armed Forces Radio Service's Extra Large Records.
This record comes from an Estate of a collector of many fine items (primarily music and records). From my research of these records they are very rare and were made during WWII for the men and women who serviced our country. Over the past 60+ years the record has been stored in a cool dry storage facility (it does have some usage marks but looks to be in playable condition). I have not tested the record because I believe they can only be played on a transcription machine or a turn table that has a platter large enough, and an arm long enough, to play them. The record were used by the AFRS; they were not available to the public.
This record is a clearance item from our inventory and is being sold "as is". If you are interested in this item please view the photos below and or contact us before you bid, we will respond quickly.
