For your consideration, you are Bidding (with NO RESERVE, beyond the minimum starting bid) on My Vintage Original 16" Armed Force Radio Service (AFRS) Transcription Recording (on a Precision Aluminum Lacquer Audiodisc) of the "Light-Up Time" Radio Show. It features Frank Sinatra as the host and key performer. The show also features Dorothy Kirsten performing her own song and a duet with Frank. (Note: The record sleeve has handwritten song titles in pencil in the top left corner. (See close-up picture #3 for details) The record itself is marked with notes where a label would go with a grease pencil. (See pictures #4 thru #6). The show is marked as #67, with the first song title Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams/Dream Your Troubles Away. There is NO reference to a date, but assume late 1940s. The record plays just okay, with intermittent distortion. NO skips. The Audiodisc sleeve is breaking down from age. There are no etched marks in the run-out groove. The reverse side is overmarked as bad, with a wavy grease pencil. (See Pictures #7 & #8). The AFRS is only mentioned at the end, during the theme music. This weighs 15.4-Ounces, without counting additional for quality overpackaging. Hopefully, from the pictures and my description, you can fully appreciate what is being offered here.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I pride myself in shipping very quickly/carefully and my auction descriptions are accurate.
