Description
For your consideration:
Uncommon 16-inch Armed Forces Radio Service transcription disc. This "Basic Musical Library" disc - as far as Benny Goodman is concerned - was excerpted from other broadcasts recorded by AFRS and released in the "Spotlight Bands" and "One Night Stand" series.
Details are in D Russell Connor's Benny Goodman: Listen To His Legacy and my own book, Benny Goodman: A Supplemental Discography. (This disc was used in conjunction with that book's research.)
Photos show disc contents; whole-disc photos were taken with and without camera flash so you can judge the disc's visual condition as accurately as possible.
Please note this is a 16-inch disc and will require a transcription turntable to play.
Selling to the US only; media mail unless otherwise requested. Disc will be well packed; I've dealt with delicate discs for decades and have had no losses to breakage yet. Payment due within three days of auction's end.
