This is a great playing 16 inch AFRS Radio Transcription record. The record Armed Forces Radio Service program 82. This 7 record set is an opera titled Madame Butterfly. This opera was recorded live by AFRS at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles Ca. in 1948. The conductor is the famous Eugene Ormandy. Stars include Eleanor Steber, Jan Peerce, Suzanne Coray and Richard Boneli. Part 1 tells the story behind Madame Butterfly. The other 13 parts complete the opera.
