Few tracks in dance history carry the weight of this enduring example of trance era in rave music. First released in 1990, it became an instant calling card for trance worldwide, fusing Belgian new beat grit with euphoric, hypnotic melody. Decades later, demand for the track hasn't dimmed. This set of new remixes debuted in 2021 and since, each year new copies get pressed and quickly disappear from shelves. 2025 it returns once more, headlined by Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano, whose remix has been lauded in clubs since that 2021 debut. It's a modern techno peak-time weapon. The iconic vocal and melody drive harder, darker and with a cavernous punch that speaks to the duo's stadium-sized presence. On the B-side, the remastered Jam & Spoon 'Watch Out For Stella' mix remains untouchable, a masterclass in tension and release that still raises hairs more than 35 years on. Solomun adds a fresh twist, slowing the tempo but deepening the groove, pulling the trance foundations into a more hypnotic late-night space. In many ways, The Age Of Love still sounds like the future. Remixes like these always help adjust that perspective.
