Hello and thank you for visiting my current series of psychedelic, garage and obscure classic rock albums. This series of auctions will contain some extraordinary albums, both from the standpoint of scarcity and superb condition. I always appreciate multiple bidders and will combine your wins to save some shipping costs. Please, if you are multiple bidding in this series you must notify me of this and I must strictly enforce that you settle up on any wins within a 14 day period of your first win, or at the very least I will request a 50% deposit of each win if you request me to hold your items beyond 14 days. No exceptions, please. If you drag your heels with auction payments or tend to bid on more than you can afford please do not bid on my auctions, it just is not fair to the majority of bidders who are prompt and reliable. Also, insurance will be required on some items. Fair enough? Thank you for your understanding and good luck to all!
Here's a once in a lifetime find that should tempt every connoisseur psychedelic or progressive vinyl collector on the planet! From 1967 and issued on LHI Records 12008 in stereo by this seven piece group of time travelers called Aggregation titled Mind Odyssey. Vinyl is in incredible condition for this scarce vintage artifact and play performance is a superb near mint, with no extraneous noise factor and fidelity is clean and crisp, a good indication it was never played with a worn stylus. Visually it appears to have been played very little and still has a nice luster with no signs of wear. It does have several visible handling scuffs on side two that at first glance I thought might be audible light scratches, but I played through the area several times just to make sure, and they had no affect on play. I genuinely doubt you will find many copies as clean as this. Label is near mint with no spindle scuffs and colorful fold out cover with inside pocket is near mint with no flaws or wear, however the spines are collapsed from improper storage, generally the result of too many records stacked on top of it for too long a time, but it's no big deal. Top right front of cover has a Not For Sale Promotional Copy impression. Tracks are The Lady Of The Gate 4:45, Looking For The Tour Guide 2:13, The Long Windy Tunnel 6:15, Flying Free 3:05, White Light 2:00, In The Garden 3:05, Reflections 2:55, The City Of Toys And Games 3:23, Change 2:50 and Life's Light 6:00. Guaranteed as described and winner is obligated for shipping cost and I ask winner to provide insurance for this item. Please, only very serious bidders who are prompt with payment. If you are new to my auctions, I ask that you square up with me on items such as this within DAYS upon me providing you with full payment and shipping quotes, just like all my regular buyers do. Also, please, I prefer to ship this item separate from any other auction wins you may have with me, as I will package it with extra support. "Flowing and feeling free, incredibly free. One knowing, one being, the whole world was me. And when I looked around my body was gone. My mind had flown and I was alone with myself, and with God who was with me all along and the voiceless song of the Universe filled my ears...And I stood in the sun I was life and life was one. The endless sky, the open sea, each was some distant part of me." This amazing album deserves to end up with a caring collector who treasure and maintain it's magnificence in the future, may the winner be gentle, kind, at peace and flowing with positive Karma. Thank you.
The album(s) included in this auction have all been professionally cleaned with a VPI HW-17 record cleaning machine (except those that are still sealed) and will be protected with one of my custom 5 mil thick polyethylene covers. . I don't mind rational inquiries and questions that are pertinent to my individual auction listings, but please, before contacting me with any question, read my entire item description and my auction related information. I do not respond to any nonsensical e-mails, to include offers to buy outright and close auction. Thank you.
I will contact the winning bidder, usually within 24 hours of auction close and provide shipping and payment details. For domestic buyers I accept Paypal, money order, cashiers check or personal check (please allow 12 days for clearing on first time check). For overseas buyers I accept Paypal (instant payments only, NO pending bank transfers, I've been burned enough on that one), Universal Postal Money Order or Western Union Money Gram (US funds) or Western Union money transfer. Cash is not recommended but will be accepted only if concealed in registered mail for domestic and registered air letter for overseas and I am not responsible for lost or opened mail. SHIPPING COSTS
DOMESTIC: Under one pound is $3.00 for Media Mail or $5.50 for Priority Mail (both include delivery confirmation). Over one pound will be determined by weight and USPS postal zone. I will always try to ship bulk orders the least expensive option, either Media Mail or Parcel Post, unless Priority Mail is requested. Delivery confirmation is included on all shipments.
OVERSEAS: Charge will be determined by weight and country. I ship USPS Air Letter Post or Economy Surface, or if insurance is requested, Air Parcel Post. Most single albums properly boxed will cost approximately $11.00 for Air Letter Post to most overseas destinations. I am not responsible for any loss or damage on uninsured parcels.
Requests for shipping quotes prior to close of auction will be ignored. If postage cost is an issue with you on my items, perhaps you should not bid. I do not charge packaging or handling fees on shipments over my minimum one pound postage cost listed above, unless you request insurance or if double box packaging ($1.00 extra) is needed. Insurance is optional on most orders. You will be charged only the standard USPS insurance rate for the amount insured. I am not responsible for uninsured damaged or lost shipments. I know how to package records & CD's in a safe and protective manner. Please allow me a few days to determine postage fees on weekend auction wins, I do not work on Weekends, Holidays or when the fishing is really good.
RECORD GRADING LP'S
I place emphasis on play grade, maintain the highest professional standards, do spot check play grading on all individual auction items and always provide an accurate visual grade and label appearance. I play grade on a quality system with a high end cartridge in order to maintain a strict and undisguised play grade. I always keep my grading simple and fair and will not subject my customers to a proliferation of meaningless grades. If a record plays between two grades I always apply the lesser grade, I don't create a grade in an attempt to articulate a borderline evaluation.
nm....near mint, superb play quality with little to no signs of visual wear and plays with little to no extraneous noise. I have learned from over 30 years of experience that "mint" is too strong a grade for a used record evaluation. The only records that qualify for a "mint" grade on my listings are my new unplayed and unhandled store stock items.
vg+...very good plus, excellent play quality with minor use and little to no overall visual wear. Any minor scuffs, light surface scratches, or blemishes do not affect play and play grade may have some very minor extraneous area noise.
vg....very good, very playable, probably with some extraneous surface noise. A slightly mishandled or well used record. May have visual scratches or blemish. I generally do not auction vg albums unless they are exceptional pieces and highly sought after items.
I use standard record grading abbreviations and include cover grade within each description. I open, clean and inspect all suspect sealed older albums.
BARGAIN LOTS
Because of time constraints, all bargain bulk lots are visually graded. I always try to include quality condition records in my bargain lots ranging from vg to mostly vg+ and near mint. I do not include any beater albums in these lots. All bargain lot auctions are "as is". This means every item is guaranteed as described, but if one of the items in the lot is defective or I may have mistakenly overlooked a serious flaw you will only receive a partial credit for that item based on the total cost, you cannot return the entire lot for a full credit. Also, I do not respond to inquiries requesting additional details on bargain bulk lots.
GUARANTEE
Retail music is my full time occupation. Your satisfaction is important to me. I guarantee everything I sell and will be cooperative and understanding towards any of my valued customers who genuinely feel I may have not maintained my grading standards, have overlooked a flaw or manufacturing defect, or have mistakenly misrepresented an item. Postage for a returned item is your responsibility and returned item must be received in same condition as originally shipped. If you are fair, courteous and reasonable with me I will be the same towards you.
