Description

Hello- I'm Bill, and over the next few weeks I'll be selling off my treasured record collection, a course of action forced on me by an imminent move and enforced retirement. I've collected music all my adult life, and will be sad to see it all go . My tastes have varied over the years, as you'll see, but folk and rock have been the backbone of my collection.Over the next few weeks there will be some rarities appearing, believe me! All records will be in at least EX condition, and a lot of NM's too. I'm loathe to use NM, once it's played, it's played, but I try to stick to the RC guidelines, even if my grading is too severe! All records are inspected under a good light, and none are cleaned, only brushed. I know everyone has their own favourite cleaning methods, so why deprive you of the pleasure?

Now back after a longer than expected hospitalisation and recovery, I’m fit and back on course. Many apologies to those of you who have been waiting to see what comes next. Hopefully this weekend’s offerings will satisfy!......Bill.

Well, this is my last folkie for today! I think I’ll put a couple of rock records on just to break the mood!

Agincourt- a name to conjure with. Wild Oats, from 1975, is as rare as the proverbial rocking horse poo. On the SFA label ( Sweet Folk All ), very few pressed, fewer remain, and this one is a beauty!

This is probably as good a copy as still exists. The cover has only a tiny amount of edge wear, tiny corner wear, and is clean and shiny. The lamination on the front is almost perfect. The unlaminated back is likewise.

The vinyl is clean and crisp, with hardly a blemish. Just a couple of light scuff marks. Well- it has been out of the sleeve! It plays superbly. As I play these, I just know I’ll regret selling all my folk music.

This listing is going to take me all weekend, cos I just HAVE to play everything all the way through!

Unbelievably  rare these days, this one is a real collector’s piece. As good as it gets.

I prefer PAYPAL for payment, and I don’t pass on their charges!
