a first pressing of the self-titled lp by American band AIR as released on Embryo SD 733 in 1971 in the US.(j)
Wonderfully tripped-out work from Air -- a totally great little rockish band with a spare groovy feel -- a mix of jazz, bits of folk rock, and some of the hipper sides of the singer/songwriter scene! Lead vocalist is Googie Coppola, who also plays piano, organ, and harpsichord -- with a style that's not that dissimilar from Roberta Flack (who also seems to be an influence on her singing, too!) Tom Coppola's also in the group, and the work here is a wonderful precursor to the later more soulful efforts from the pair. Other backing includes more organ, piano, bass, and drums -- and the style of the record is similar to other "folk funk experience" albums from the time, like work by Barbara & Ernie or Shades Of Joy. Titles include "Man Is Free", "In Our Time", "Martin", "Realize", "Mr Man", "Lipstick", and "Man's Got Style".

- the record: vg++ condition (light marks)
- the cover: vg+ condition (ringwear)
In an attempt to show the best possible pictures of lp's I am putting up for auction I use a large format scanner. This enables me to provide potential buyers with a GREAT view of the item. Unfortunately the scanner can not contain all of the surface of the lp; a small part of about 1,25 cm/0.5 inch is missing!

Due to the unreliability of the speed of standard airmail which has recently left many buyers waiting a long time for their records albums may now ONLY be shipped by priority airmail.
Postage for 1 album inside Europe will be EURO 8 and for 2 albums (or 1 double lp) it'll be EURO 10; outside of Europe for 1 album it'll be EURO 11 and for 2 albums (or 1 double lp) EURO 15. Please contact me in case you need registered mail or insurance.
I will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail if not sent by registerd or insured mail!

Due to the growing number of winners not following up on their winning bids I have adopted the following policy on payment:
1. After the auction has ended the winner will recieve a notice with instructions on payment etc.
2. I expect the winner to confirm reception of this email within 48 hours
3. After 2-3 days ONE notice will be sent if confirmation has not been recieved
4. Payment is expected within two weeks after the auction has ended.
5. After that ebay will be notified and an Unpaid Item Dispute will be opened.
