WELCOME! I Work in a record store in Austin, Texas and I am going to be selling off some of my collection, I am starting off small, but I do have all positive feedback for records and other items, including some pricey heavy hitters and no complaints thus far thankfully. This week I'm offering a lot of RARE and OBSCURE records from all sorts of genres, mostly private press stuff, like boogie funk psych soul folk xian weird etc..

For auction is: Al Fitzmorris - Locked In / The Winds of My Life . 7" single on PEAK records . Sponsored by the KC ROYALS . approx 1970-1973. Stage III sound productions PRP 21761. Around 500 pressed, maybe as few as 200 ever given out.
    Okay, I've had this incredible record for a while now and I am really torn about selling it. I have waited for some info to surface on the internet or among my friends about the release for a long time now but nothing ever comes up.  I blogged this 7in on my blog at www.headlampshovel.blogspot.com and hoped for some info but nothing came.  So I'm taking the gamble and I hope everyone out there will find it as bad ass and intriguing as I have. 
   First of all, just listen to this 2 sided monster of a record.  Both sides are killer in quite different ways, it's a psychedelic loner folk soul jam with beautiful electric keyboard melodies, rawkus drumming, awesome fuzz riffs, organ jams, and really beautiful lyrics and song crafting... dark as Dave Bixby, raw as Fraction, ominous as Azitis, but catchy as hell... and all this by AL FITZMORRIS of the 1970's KANSAS CITY ROYALS baseball team.  Incredible stuff really. How has this slipped under the radar for so long? And by a major league baseball player that was somewhat famous? Perhaps because it's not an LP and seems very ordinary looking.  Please listen thoroughly to these tracks, they have really grown on me and I'm already regretting selling this so I hope the winner enjoys it as much as I have.

   Vinyl: EX ( Very nice copy, I got this from a friend of Al's, and it had not ever been listened to at the time, I have played it probably 20 times or so, has very minimal signs of wear maybe a couple tiny paper scuffs. )  ^Listen to Sound Clip

I try to Grade conservatively because everyone has different standards.
I use Gold Mine standard grading in ascending order of quality G, G+, VG-, VG, VG+, VG++, EX(+/-), NM (I almost never give a used record this), and SS (or sealed unplayed).
