This then is the immensely rare and very highly priced Al Jones single " Mad, Mad World " ( The Rare Record Guide 2008 has this single priced at £ 275 in mint condition ) This 7" Single is not only very scarce in its own right, it is also that much rarer as a Demonstration Record.
This record is very carefully described as follows:
Both sides of this record are graded as very good + and have light marks and some light scratches on the playing surface, it has been played often but has no deep scratches and no recurring ticks. It has been sound checked and plays well. There is the occasional crackle, but then this single is nearly 50 years of age.
The labels are unmarked with no writing on them, and are in very good condition, there is the hint of an old strip label on side 1. There are no spindle marks seen. The single will be sent in an original HMV Cover.
I will be selling a large number of rare and very fine 1960's singles ( All of them are Demonstration or Advanced copies ) over the next week. Most of these forthcoming singles are in Mint or Near Mint condition. Some are very highly prized indeed, so please follow my site you may very well find something you like or have looked for over the years.
