The Alan Lee Jazz Quintet And Friends: The Smilor LP from 197? on the Jazznote label JNLP014/S (original Australian pressing).
Included in DJ Sheep's list of great Australian funk/soul/jazz/breaks LPs as listed on the soulstrut web site, and previously featured on thetasmanconnection site. Here's Sheep's review:
"Alan Lee, considered by some to be Australia's best vibes player, delivers a powerful jazz masterpiece. "The Smilor" contains fantastic cover versions of Milt Jacksons' "Enchanted Lady" and WARs' "The World Is A Ghetto". The song "Flying Saucer" is an uptempo funky soul/jazz monster that was included on Ubiquity's "Heading In The Right Direction" compilation. Ill loops and a plethora of samples are to be found throughout this entire record."
