This is a promotional copy of an out of print Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs limited edition Anadisq 200 Gram Heavy Vinyl LP. I am the original owner of this album. It was sent to me direct from the Mobile Fidelity publicity department.
You’ll never hear Tales sounding better than on this half-speed mastered lp. Taken from the original master tapes (this is not the remixed version) and specially plated and pressed on 200 grams of gorgeous high definition vinyl, all Mobile Fidelity vinyl releases are then packed in a static-free/dust-free inner sleeve and placed inside a heavy-duty jacket. Everything about these albums is top notch, from the sound to the packaging.
What makes this one even more desirable is that it's a promotional copy. Promo copies are always the first ones off the presses, resulting in the best possible sound quality, and are usually limited to no more than 50 copies. Stock copies are pressed afterwards.
Some promo copies will have a saw cut or hole punched in the cover - this one has neither. There is no promo stamp. The cover is clean and flawless. The white rectangle where the number would normally go it blank.
This was an EXTREMELY limited release that has been completely unavailable since the tiny original pressing sold out. This LP has been stored in a smoke free environment, and will be packaged securely to ensure it arrives safely.
If you're a serious Alan Parsons collector, you know how hard this album is to come by. There simply weren't that many produced - especially promo copies, and most of them are long gone by now. If you do find them, they're rarely in this condition.
Don’t miss your chance to add this rarity to your collection!!!
Thanks, and good luck bidding!
