On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Albany Folk Group called "Albany Folk" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Warren label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST UK FOLK LPs EVER MADE - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  ONLY 99 COPIES WERE EVER MADE, AND THE CHANCES OF EVER FINDING ANOTHER AGAIN ARE VIRTUALLY ZERO!!!!  THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS THIS LP IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'CREDITS' / 'TRACKLISTING' INSERT WHICH IS IN SUPERB CONDITION!!!!

NOW AS WITH ANY PRIVATE PRESSING THERE IS SOME DROSS ON THIS LP.  IT IS ALL FOLK, BUT SOME OF THE TRACKS ARE BASIC RENDITIONS OF WELL WORN FOLK TRACKS - SUCH AS 'SCARBOROUGH FAIR', AND 'LEMON TREE'.  AND SO THOSE YOU JUST DIP INTO THIS LP QUICKLY, EASILY MISS THE HIDDEN GEMS THAT ARE WAITING!!!!  FOR EXAMPLE 'SPINNING WHEEL' IS AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF A SOLO FEMALE VOCAL FROM THIS PERIOD, AND IS AN EXCELLENT FEMALE SOLO FOLK SONG!!!!  BETTER STILL COMES THE GUITAR TRACK 'GIANTS CASTLE' WHICH IS SELF WRITTEN, AND IS SUPERB WITH DEFINITE ACID TENDENCIES!!!!  BUT BEST OF ALL IS THE TRULY STUNNING TRACK 'TEMMA HARBOUR' SUNG SOLO BY CHRISTINE POSTLES.  NOW THIS TRACK IS AWESOME - FEM VOX IN ITS PUREST FORM AND A VOCALIST WHO COULD EASILY HAVE MADE IT PROFESSIONALLY.  IT HAS A HAUNTING QUALITY, AND WORTH THIS LP ON ITS OWN!!!!  SO AN LP THAT IS 'BEYOND RARE' AND HAS SOME STUNNING TRACKS TOO!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS WARREN LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS 'CREDITS' / 'TRACKLISTING' AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK COVER (WITH A 'HANDMADE' PICTURE BY THE BAND STUCK ON THE COVER FRONT!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Warren UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is WAR LP 242/3  on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Warren label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO stickers, NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! The record also has a 'dull' and 'dappled' appearance under light - but this purely from the original pressing, and as this was privately made, it is typical of private pressings from this early period!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  The record plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  Again typical of private pressings from this period (and as manufactured!), there is the odd brief surface sound, and some background sound in places!!!!  The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  THE 1ST PRESS INSERT IS IN AWESOME CONDITION!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Flipback Cover (with 'stuck on' picture by the Band on the cover front!) is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, NO splits, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), NO rips, NO tears, only a VERY few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO sticker marks, a TINY stain on 1 edge, NO sticker tears, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
