(Although the man remains uncredited the A-side offers a sweet rendition of Slim Smith & the Uniques’ ultimate rocksteady-sounds of „The Beatitude“ by original Gladiator Albert Griffiths ... who teams up w/ DeeJay Trinity ina real rootsy mood ... but it’s surely Tommy McCook’s horns-ride on „Stepping High“ that makes this 12“ a great deal ... a real wicked saxaphone-solo tops a ruff & tuff steppers riddim ... this instrumental is followed by its dub version ... killer sounds from the roots ... comes as original press on the UK's Grove Music-imprint complete with the original sleeve ... from 1978 ... don't miss out!)

FEATURE: CREATION VIBES
WAX 'N' SOUND: vg+/vg+, looks great w/ loads of shine, light surface marks, plays nicely w/ big big punch & great sound, there's occasional crackle to be expected, I suppose a deep cleansing will improve!
LABEL: both sides show hardly any wear, NO writings/markings, NO damages, just perfectly perfect!
SLEEVE: comes in original Grove Disco 45 sleeve in vg+ condition, light general wear, top seam starts to split, NO writings, NO damages, very good plus condition!

Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality!
I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often).
Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).
THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE:
EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...)
VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...)
G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
