SAVANNAH (aka SAVANA) ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by SOUL SOUND GROUP aka ALBERTO BALDAN BEMBO. Original Italian pressing on MAXIMUS label (M 26), from 1977. Super-cool, Pourquoi Moi discovery from back in the day (like 20+ years ago) but amazingly, still a practically unknown item for many Italian soundtrack collectors ;) The Soul Sound Group side titled 'Savannah' is actually the killer SAVANA theme by Alberto Baldan Bembo (recorded under a shady pseudonym release) that opens his erotic Lingua D' Argento soundtrack masterpiece on Aris label. Tropical funk exotica with heavy bassline and beats / disco wah wah / dancing fender rhodes / tribal drums / sexy female scat chorus singers and phased cinematic strings. Great for DJs with booming production sound. This mysterious Maximus release is also cut louder than the original Aris Lp recording too. Do expect a race by interested lurkers to hoover the so-called NM copies on D*sc*gs or, just take your chance on our copy with lovingly recorded soundclip / informative description / proper condition info etc :) Spellbinding groove from the maestro with an alternative variation on a re-occurring theme heard throughout the Lingua D'Argento score. This is Alberto Baldan Bembo film music at its very best and even better on 7-inch format. Sleazy mood music from the soft porn / exploitation film directed by Mauro Ivaldi starring Carmen Villani / Nadia Cassini and Roberto Cenci. Please also note this is a split 45 single with a totally different B-side. Rare OST 45!!!     

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M- overall) regardless of the mini crater (cum scratch / pressing anomaly) on each side. The mini defect causes an audible pop / click to the "Savannah" side (as you can hear on the soundclip). Same for the other side but this track is not important, at all. The record is basically top otherwise, with just a few hairlines / faint scuffs from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises, in general for an old record. Booming production sound. Item taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The generic Discoteque Sound sleeve is in VG++ condition overall with light general wear from storage. Rare OST 45!!!
