Description
2 16-inch radio transcriptions, aluminum, 33RPM: airchecks for reference purposes cut by Les Smith, a professional recording engineer. Both programs have JELL-O commercials so they were probably recorded for the ad agency (Baker Advertising). The discs are banded where the commercials occur, although this was sometimes also done when a Canadian station rebroadcast a program and inserted its own advertisements. It's also possible that they were for rebroadcast because the discs alternate outside and center start (this is so there'd be no noticeable change in audio quality between the discs). Both are airchecked off WBEN-FM, Buffalo. E-, some small scuffs and scratches.
