Aleister Crowley - “The Hastings Archive/The World as Power”
These are recordings of Aleister Crowley, originally made on wax cylinder between 1910 and 1914, compiled by David Tibet of Current 93.
NOTE: For whatever reason, this particular copy is not numbered, nor does it have the “Goetia 666” sticker (though “Goetia 666” does appear in the run-out groove. The center hole was not originally punched on the center label, the speeds are different on each side, the inscriptions in the run-out groove are accurate, the labels are identical to other photos I’ve found and do not appear to be duplicated. All evidence points to this being entirely legitimate. It just doesn’t have a number or a sticker.
Includes two inserts: One with Liber LXXVII, and another announcing upcoming releases from Current 93 in association with the Final Church of the Noddy Apocalypse.
Jacket is VG+: Ringwear is in its infancy. Seams and corners are worn, but not split. Back cover has a sticker reading, “Made in the United Kingdom.”
Vinyl is also VG+: There are some marks on the disc, but they’re extremely superficial. Any problems you have with the sound quality have more to do with the original pre-WWI recordings than the actual LP.
