Original Italian pressing on the CETRA label (SP 1463), from 1971. Killer and still practically unknown single featuring the unmistakeable Library sound of Sorgini and Alessandroni with strange pop girl vocals and beautiful scat harmony a la Edda Dell'Orso. Stoned Zoo Folle cum psychedelic Telefilm style lounge with funky drums / dub basslines / sub-aquatic hammond / flute / cinematic strings / guitars and the buzzing fuzz distortions of Alessandroni. Mood music from the obscure RAI TV programme, Scegliamo La Vita. CHI SONO IO? is an alternative version of 'Overlook' from the Alternanze 7004 Fonit Library session. The BAMBINO SAI... theme is an alternative version of 'Costa Smeralda' from the Braen Raskovich - Tempo Libero Library on Panda label (PL 1017). Obsessive and hallucinogenic with studio FX / echo chamber / delays and early dub production techniques. Next level Sorgini item. Great for DJs. Our soundclip opens with a section of fuzz breaks and scat vocals from CHI SONO IO? followed by both themes in their entirety. Sexy hippie / counter-culture / NYC skyline / pop art sleeve too. Very rare 45!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M- overall) with some hairlines. Light surface noises. A couple of soft pops to intro of 'Bambino Sai..' side. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M- overall) with minimal light corner wear in places. Some ring dirt marks and a touch of creasing from storage. Very rare OST 45!!!
