ALEX HARVEY Presents THE LOCH NESS MONSTER
UK LP, K-Tel NE984, 1977 This album was testament to Alex Harvey’s fascination with the Loch Monster. It’s primarily a series of interviews (conducted by Harvey) with people who claim to have seen the monster, punctuated at the beginning and middle with narration by Richard O’Brien. At the end, Alex suggests there’s a family of creatures, as yet unknown to science, living in the Loch. There’s only one song on the album: a 30-second untitled folk ballad. A map appears on the inside of the gatefold sleeve. Also includes a 7 page/14 side illustrated "diary" of Alex Harvey's time in Scotland.
