"ALEXANDER And The GREATS" **Hot Dang Mustang b/w Do The Mustang** 1964 Single 45 rpm Original Sleeve On Limelight Y-3040 *Vinyl Excellent Condition* And A One Owner!

SLEEVE EXCELLENT:  Original 1964 Limelight label paper sleeve is in VG+ To Excellent condition.  No side or bottom edge splits.  Mouth edge is a little rough in spots, but no rips or tears.  There is original owner graffiti on the top edge of the mouth where the title is written in ink (see photo).   Top corners are a bit rough, but no serious bent corner creases.   Sleeve is a bit rough in spots, but it "is" the original sleeve and much nicer than acceptable for being 50+ years old.

LABELS NM:  Labels are in great shape overall, almost perfect.  Zero ring/shelf.  No scratches, graffiti or other common user damage.  Colors are still bright and vivid.  Near zero wear around the spindle hole.  Very nice all around.

VINYL RECORD EXCELLENT:  The vinyl is nearly flawless visually on both sides.  It sounds okay, but the off label studio work is lacking and the sound is not stellar.  No scratches or scuffs on either side, and the visual appearance is beautiful.  Vinyl has virtually no damage, even of a minor degree.  It plays back almost perfectly with no skips, hangs or discernible noise.  Just shy of perfect sound wise as far as any external noise.

BOTH SIDES OF THIS 45 WERE GRADED AUDIBLY, AND "LOUD" IN STEREO MODE SO THAT ANY AND ALL NOISE COULD BE DOCUMENTED FOR THIS DESCRIPTION.  NO HEADPHONES GRADING!

SIDE "A" Hot Dang Mustang:  Light noise at intro.  Better sound quality than the B-side.  Decent bass and drums.  Little to no noise during the track.  Light noise with a few moderate pops in the trail off area.   I gave side "A" an "A-" audibly.  Hardly any noise and what there is, is certainly not distracting. Clean sounding, and nice listening.

SIDE "B" Do The Mustang:  Near zero noise at intro.  Low grade off studio sound quality, but clean as far as any surface noise.  No noticeable noise during track play.  Moderate noise in the trail off area.  Nothing during playback to warrant any downgrade.  Not quite perfect, but its clean enough that I gave side "B" an "A-" audibly also.

SUMMARY:  The paper sleeve is in excellent condition as described above, and the vinyl has almost no noise on either side during tracks play.  The record is certainly qualified for re-recording to another audio medium in my opinion.  The record has very little wear and is still fairly shiny.  Its visual appearance is very nice.  For the most part, the record package was well cared for overall, even though the sleeve has a couple of rough spots.

Please examine all photos carefully prior to bidding/purchasing.  Some of the photos have shadow pollution, and have been lightened and/or enhanced for better viewer clarity.  No photos have been altered to be of a deceptive or misleading nature.  Any flaws noted in this description may be viewed more closely in the photo gallery and if any damage or flaw has been omitted from the description, it is purely an oversight on my part and not an attempt to deceive or mislead potential buyers.  May I stress, don't like it?  Not as nice as you'd hoped or expected?  Just let me know.  Buyer satisfaction always guaranteed.
