SETTLE IN FOR A LONG RUN OF COLLECTABLE LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES!! This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1969 U.S. IMPULSE RECORDS stereo LP containing the 1969 album titled 'A Monastic Trio' from Alice Coltrane. It is Impulse Records catalog number A-9156, thick rigid vinyl pressing, black Impulse labels with red borders. This LP came from a large collection that all dated from the late 1960s to the early to mid 1970s. Personnel: Alice Coltrane-piano, harp / Jimmy Garrison-bass / Ben Riley or Rashied Ali-drums / Pharoah Sanders-bass clarinet. Tracks: Ohnedaruth, Gospel Trane, I Want To See You, Lovely Sky Boat, Oceanic Beloved, Atmic Peace. Condition of record is a real nice VG++ with just a few visible sleeve marks which are not the result of use, cannot be felt, and have no effect on play. Labels have no problems at all. Conditon of thick cardboard gatefold cover is a high VG+ with a couple of small wrinkles and a little wear along the edges and on the corners as the only very minor flaws. Cover has no splits, tears, writing, or stickers. This LP would be a choice addition to any Alice Coltrane or avant-garde free jazz record collection!
