Description
US 1st pressing with the single box Impulse/ABC logo on the labels. G disc has many scratches. Plays through without skips but has surface noise throughout particularly noticeable in the quiet passages. G jacket has writing on cover, significant edge wear, taped top seam, and a tear on the cool Pharaoh sticker. Definitely a starter copy. However, the promotional sticker on the back makes this a pretty unique and curious find despite its condition. There are no examples of this on Discogs. I know folks are gaga over "Journey" and "Elements" but this one is a slam dunk for me. You get Pharaoh and Joe Henderson – two for the price of one. The track "Turiya & Ramakrishna" is a masterpiece. Moody and ominous. She absolutely shines on piano.
