ALICE COOPER – BILLION DOLLAR BABIES 1ST PRESSING - DIE CUT SLEEVE
This is a US FIRST PRESSING of this important Alice LP, with a gatefold cover in the shape of a wallet. It is is in EXCELLENT condition.
I got this from the Warner press office and have looked after it carefully ever since. I always bought the best hi-fi equipment with the most expensive cartridges available. The record has only been played once a day so the vinyl grooves could regain their proper shape. The album has only been handled on the edges and was cleaned with a DiscPreener before each play. Both vinyl and cover are in flawless condition. It looks brand new.
It has the DIE-CUT COVER with the coin and the metal ring in relief on the front and back cover. It is in perfect condition with no marks or tears.
The "bubblegum" cards of the band in the left side of the foldout cover are all intact with no tears in the perforations.
The giant dollar bill on the right side has never been taken out. It is in absolutely perfect condition.
The inner sleeve is heavy cardboard with the lyrics printed on one side and a photo of the band on the other. It is in perfect condition with no tears, marks, scratches of any kind.
It's not very often you find a cover in perfect condition like this.
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition with no scratches or marks of any kind. It looks like it just came off the press.
The matrix numbers are K56013 A1 / B2
This is a valuable addition to any Alice Cooper collection. As a guide to what this LP is worth, in January a copy in similar condition sold on eBay for £93. It has sold for as much as £285!
